Our History
Our organization was founded in 2006 when a small group of friends—then members of the United Volta Association in New York—identified a growing need within the Ewe community in New Jersey to create a local organization where they could gather, support each other, and celebrate their shared cultural heritage. Since then, the association has grown into a vibrant and structured organization committed to fostering unity, preserving traditions, and advancing the social and economic well-being of the community.
